Best Orlando Wedding Venues by Style | Classic Disc Jockeys

Orlando is one of the most popular wedding destinations in the country, with more than 200 major wedding venues spread across Central Florida. After 2,000 weddings, I’ve performed at most of the venues couples are choosing today. This page is my running list of the venues I work at most often, organized by style.

You’ll find rustic estates and farmhouses, garden and lakefront ceremony spaces, community halls and historic ballrooms, country clubs, full-service resorts, and the Walt Disney World wedding venues I am a featured DJ. Each linked venue page below covers what to expect from the space, what works well there, and how my DJ services fit at that specific location.

The list below have the venues I see booked most consistently year after year: Highland Manor in Apopka, Historic Dubsdread in College Park, Cypress Grove Estate House, Bella Collina in Montverde, the Mulberry Estate, the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, and the Walt Disney World Disney Fairytale Wedding venues at the Grand Floridian and the Contemporary Resort. Whatever style you’re leaning toward, there is an Orlando venue that fits.

If you’re at the early stage of planning and don’t know where to start, the venue tends to set the tone for everything else: the music, the lighting, the formality of your introductions, and how the whole reception flows. Pick your venue first, and the rest of the planning gets easier. Browse by style below.

What Are the Best Wedding Venues in Orlando?

The best Orlando wedding venue is the one that fits your style, your guest count, and your budget. Below are the venues I perform at most often, sorted into seven categories so you can browse by the look and feel you’re after rather than by an alphabetical list.

Orlando Rustic and Estate Wedding Venues

If you’re picturing string lights, exposed wood, and an outdoor ceremony with the reception under a covered space, these are the Central Florida venues to look at. Most of these properties handle the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location, which keeps the day simple for you and your guests.

Specialty Wedding Venues in Central Florida

These are the Orlando venues with personality, the ones that don’t fit a standard ballroom mold. Museums, historic ballrooms, restaurants with skyline views, and the rare venue that becomes the talking point of the night for your guests.

What Are the Best Garden Wedding Venues in Orlando?

Outdoor ceremonies, garden settings, and venues built around the natural Florida landscape. These work best for couples who want their photos to look like a destination wedding without leaving Central Florida.

Community Wedding Venues in Central Florida

Public and city-owned venues throughout Central Florida that consistently come in at a more affordable price point without giving up the wedding feel. Most of these have flexible vendor lists and full event spaces.

Orlando Resort Wedding Venues

Full-service resort properties where your guests can stay onsite, the catering is handled in-house, and the getting ready suites are onsite. These are the easiest venues for out-of-town wedding parties and weekend-long events.

What Are the Best Country Club Wedding Venues in Orlando?

Established country clubs and golf properties around Central Florida. These tend to have the most polished service staff, a built-in elegant feel, and the kind of grounds that photograph beautifully at sunset.

Walt Disney World Wedding Venues

I’m one of the few DJs on Walt Disney World’s official Disney Fairytale Weddings list, which means I’m cleared to perform at any of the Walt Disney World wedding locations. These venues are booked directly through Disney Fairytale Weddings, and the pricing for my services at these properties is provided to you through Disney as part of your event.

Frequently Asked Questions About Orlando Wedding Venues

How many wedding venues are there in Orlando?

Orlando has more than 200 major wedding venues across Central Florida, ranging from rustic barns and historic estates to lakefront resorts, country clubs, museums, and the official Walt Disney World wedding properties. The list above covers the venues I work at most often, but chances are I’ve performed anywhere you are looking to get married.

What is the most popular wedding venue in Orlando?

There isn’t one single most popular venue, but the venues I see booked most consistently each year include Highland Manor in Apopka, Historic Dubsdread, Sterling Event Venue, the Mulberry Estate, the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, Azalea Lodge, Lake Mary Events Center, Winter Park Farmer’s Market, and the Walt Disney World Disney Fairytale Wedding venues including the Grand Floridian and Contemporary Resort.

Should I book my wedding venue or my DJ first?

Book your venue first. The venue sets your wedding date, your guest count, and the layout your DJ has to work around. Once your venue and date are locked in, the next thing to book is your DJ, because the most-requested wedding DJs in Central Florida are typically booked 9 to 18 months out. You can see my full packages on my pricing page.

Are Walt Disney World wedding venues more expensive than other Orlando venues?

Sometimes, yes, but not always. Disney Fairytale Wedding venues come with a Disney event minimum that includes the venue, food and beverage, and most vendor services. My DJ pricing at Disney venues is provided directly through Disney as part of your event package, so it’s structured differently from my standard Central Florida pricing.

Do Orlando wedding venues include a DJ?

A small number have all-inclusive packages that do, but you give up the freedom to choose the DJ you like. Most Orlando wedding venues maintain a preferred vendor list or an open vendor policy, and the DJ is hired separately by the couple. That gives you the flexibility to choose the DJ who actually fits your wedding rather than whoever the venue would assign.

Can I bring my own DJ to a Walt Disney World wedding?

Walt Disney World requires that your DJ be on their approved Disney Fairytale Weddings vendor list, which is a small group of featured DJs. I’m one of the few DJs on Walt Disney World’s official DJ list, which means I’m able to perform at any of the Walt Disney World wedding locations.
