Winter Park Farmers Market Wedding DJ | Classic DJs

The Winter Park Farmers Market is one of the most distinctive wedding venues in Central Florida. Housed in a restored 1916 train depot in the heart of Winter Park, the building features original brick walls, wood sliding doors, and a kind of warmth that simply cannot be manufactured. It is genuinely unlike any ballroom in the area, and that uniqueness is exactly what draws so many couples here. I have performed at this venue many times, and that familiarity shapes everything from how I set up to how I read the room on your wedding night.

The mix of indoor charm and outdoor space gives couples real flexibility. Whether your reception is centered inside the air-conditioned main room or the ceremony takes place out on the open patio, having a DJ who knows this space means fewer surprises and better music from start to finish.

What to Know About the Space

The main interior is 2,800 square feet of air-conditioned event space. It seats up to 180 guests inside, with brick walls and original wooden doors giving the room a character that photographs beautifully and feels even better in person. The outdoor patio can accommodate up to 100 guests for a ceremony, and the City of Winter Park provides 120 white folding chairs for outdoor setups.

One practical detail worth knowing: the outdoor ceremony area has limited dedicated power access. I carry battery-powered ceremony sound equipment as part of my standard setup, so that is never an issue. For indoor receptions, power access is straightforward. Load-in is through the venue’s vintage loading doors, which open directly to the historic rail-side of the building, and my equipment moves efficiently through that access point.

DJ Services I Offer at the Winter Park Farmers Market

Every wedding I perform is fully customized around the couple, and the Farmers Market is a venue where a few specific services tend to shine.

The brick walls and warm interior architecture make this one of the best spaces in Central Florida for uplighting. Adding color along those walls can completely transform the room between the ceremony and reception. You can learn more about my uplighting options on the lighting page.

A digital photobooth is a natural fit here. The train depot architecture gives guests a one-of-a-kind backdrop that photographs in a way a plain wall never could. Details are on the photobooth page.

Ceremony sound, cocktail hour, MC hosting, and full reception service are all standard parts of every package. I personally DJ every wedding I perform, and I arrive at least 60 minutes before your start time to make sure everything is ready before your guests walk in.
