The History of Highland Manor

When you arrive at Highland Manor you may feel like you’ve been transported back in time to another era. The manor was originally built over 110 years ago as a private residence for an affluent family. The large estate sits on an impressive 11 acres of land and still features some of its original woodwork and design.

Ancient oak trees line the property and provide a scenic backdrop for guests who decide to go on a stroll. You may also get to see some colorful peacocks roaming the grounds if you are lucky!

Venue Location and Details

The Highland Manor is conveniently located at 604 E. Main Street in Apopka. The secluded venue is very close to the 441 freeway and only 30 minutes away from Orlando. Highland Manor can accommodate up to 350 guests. The manor has multiple rooms and event spaces, including a spacious bridal suite, Crystal Ballroom, Oak Room, and the Verandah.

The Highland Manor Weddings Team offers both indoor and outdoor wedding packages. Do you prefer an indoor ceremony because of the Florida weather? Or maybe you and your partner want a small and intimate affair? The Highland Manor has an on-site wedding chapel which can comfortably seat up to 100 guests.

However, if you prefer the outdoors and want to have a large wedding you can say your nuptials under the picturesque canopy of grand oak trees.

Besides its beautiful grounds, the venue is also popular among locals in Central Florida because it can provide food, catering, trained staff and a wedding coordinator on your big day. The professional staff can help greet your guests and handle all the details for you. The Manor is part of the Dubsdread catering family.

Menu Options

Highland Manor offers an extensive food and drink menu. Your guests and wedding party can enjoy a salad, hors de d’oeuvres and other light snacks. For a full meal, you can decide among multiple entrees and sides. The venue’s entree menu includes chicken and shrimp dinners. You can also dine on delicious Ravioli and Tortellini pasta.

If you would like to make your reception fun and non-traditional, you can add a s’more station or a gourmet potato bar. Their drink menu includes domestic and imported beer, wine and liquor. They also offer champagne and sparkling cider for your congratulatory toast.
