DJ Services at Lake Mary Events Center
Lake Mary Events Center sits along the shores of West Crystal Lake in the heart of downtown Lake Mary, just off I-4. It is one of Central Florida’s most versatile wedding venues, with a Grand Ballroom, a glass-enclosed Rotunda, and a lakeside outdoor ceremony site. The combination of indoor elegance and an outdoor waterfront setting gives couples a lot of flexibility with how the evening unfolds.
I have performed many weddings here, across multiple spaces and every kind of celebration. Some couples fill the Grand Ballroom for a full reception. Others opt to make the ballroom smaller. Knowing how each room feels and sounds makes a real difference when it comes to pacing the evening and keeping energy where it needs to be.
What Does Lake Mary Events Center Offer Couples?
The Grand Ballroom spans 3,750 square feet and seats up to 240 guests. The Rotunda is glass-enclosed, seats up to 160, and has a warm, luminous quality that works beautifully for ceremonies or cocktail hour. The outdoor Lakeside Ceremony Site features a trellis and fountain and accommodates guests along the water.
Power access throughout the building is reliable, and the layout allows for a clean DJ setup without running cable across guest areas. Hotels and restaurants are close by, which helps for guests traveling in from out of town. I arrive at least 60 minutes before your start time so the system is tested and everything is ready well before guests walk through the door.

Services That Work Well at Lake Mary Events Center
The Grand Ballroom is an excellent candidate for upligting. The tall ceilings and glass walls in the Rotunda respond especially well to color washes, and I use wireless uplights that do not require additional power runs. The room looks polished and intentional without a cable in sight.
A digital photobooth fits naturally at this venue. Guests gravitate toward it during cocktail hour. It sets up cleanly near the ballroom entrance or in a designated corner of the room.
The Virtual Fireworks Experience is one of the most popular add-ons for indoor receptions where outdoor fireworks are not permitted. It delivers a full fireworks moment right inside the room, and the reaction from guests is always one of the highlights of the night.
All packages include ceremony music, cocktail hour coverage, MC services, and my Wedding Reception Blueprint® planning system. Full details on what is included in the FIVE, SIX, and MORE packages are on my pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Lake Mary Events Center Weddings
How much do you charge for weddings at Lake Mary Events Center?
My pricing is the same at every Central Florida venue. At Lake Mary Events Center, my transparent pricing applies. No venue markups, no hidden fees. Exact package details are on my pricing page.
Have you performed at Lake Mary Events Center before?
Yes, many times. I have worked in the Grand Ballroom, the glass Rotunda, and at outdoor lakeside ceremonies. Knowing how each space sounds and where the best positions are for setup and speakers means your guests hear everything clearly, whether you are indoors or outside by the water.
What equipment do you bring?
I bring professional speakers, a DJ mixer, wireless microphones, and full backup equipment to every wedding. I carry two million dollars in liability insurance and am fully licensed.
Can I make song requests ahead of time?
Absolutely. The planning process includes a full music section where you select your processional, first dance, parent dances, and reception playlist. You can also flag songs you prefer not to hear. The evening sounds exactly the way you planned it.
How do you handle ceremony sound at this venue?
Ceremony sound runs on a separate, battery-powered system that is completely independent from the reception setup. That means I do not rely on venue power for outdoor ceremonies by the lake. A wireless microphone for the officiant is included in all packages.
When do you arrive to set up?
I arrive at least 60 minutes before your start time. At Lake Mary Events Center, I coordinate load-in timing with the venue in advance so setup is complete and tested well before your guests arrive.
