Casani Estates Wedding DJ in Groveland, FL | Classic DJs

Casani Estates is a lakefront property tucked into 140 acres of forest in Groveland, about 45 minutes west of Orlando. Couples come for the views. Multiple lakefront ceremony sites, a Garden Pavilion, a grand deck, and the Lodge, all woven together so the day flows from one space into the next. Add the on-site lodging and the everyday Florida sunsets, and it is one of the more cinematic settings in Central Florida.

I am DJ Chuck Johnson, and I have performed at Casani Estates many times. A property with this many spaces rewards a DJ who already knows the route, where ceremony lands, where cocktail hour breathes, and how the Lodge and Garden Pavilion sound when the dance floor fills up. Repeat experience matters.

The Layout, Spaces, and Sound at Casani Estates

Casani offers a flexible footprint. Weddings up to about 225 guests use the grand deck and Lodge in combination, and the property can host events up to 250 with the right setup. Couples typically have a lakefront or wooded ceremony, then move toward the deck for cocktails and into the Pavilion or Lodge for dinner and dancing.

This is where venue knowledge pays off. I run a separate, battery-powered ceremony rig at the lakefront so nothing depends on long extension cords across the grass. Cocktail hour and reception sound get their own placement plan based on the spaces being used. I am in place at least 60 minutes before your start time.

DJ and MC Services Built for a Casani Wedding Day

I personally DJ and MC every wedding I take. No subcontracting, no substitute. At Casani, that usually means lakefront ceremony music, a smooth handoff to cocktail hour music on the deck, then a full reception with grand entrance, toasts, dinner sets, and a packed dance floor inside the Lodge.

The venue already has the market lights working in its favor, but uplighting deepens the room after sunset and lets your color palette take over the walls and the deck rails. Couples can read more on my uplighting page. A digital open-air photobooth tucks in naturally near the bar or lounge area, and guests get their photos sent straight to their phone or email. Details are on my photobooth page.

Every Casani wedding I do is mapped through my Wedding Reception Blueprint planning process, so each beat of the night is intentional and tied to your story long before load-in.

Frequently Asked Questions About a Casani Estates Wedding DJ

How much does a wedding DJ cost at Casani Estates?

My pricing is the same at every Central Florida venue. At Casani Estates, my transparent pricing applies. No venue markups, no hidden fees. Exact package details are on my pricing page.

Have you DJed at Casani Estates before?

Yes. I have performed at Casani Estates many times and know the property well, including the lakefront ceremony sites, the Garden Pavilion, the grand deck, and the Lodge. That experience helps the day move from one space to the next without a hitch.

What equipment do you bring to a Casani wedding?

I bring professional speakers sized to the space and the guest count, a wireless mic for ceremony and toasts, my DJ mixer, and a separate battery-powered ceremony sound system for the lakefront. Backup gear is part of every package, so the music never stops.

Can guests submit song requests and a do-not-play list?

Yes. I share an online planning form before your wedding where you build your must-play list, your do-not-play list, and the moments that matter to you. On the day, I read the room and take live requests when it makes sense, while still honoring the lines you set.

Do you provide ceremony sound at the lakefront?

Yes. Ceremony sound is included in every package. I run a separate, battery-powered system for the lakefront ceremony, including a wireless lavalier mic for the officiant and processional and recessional music cued exactly the way you want.

What time will you arrive on the wedding day?

I arrive at least 60 minutes before your start time. That gives me a full setup window for the ceremony location and the reception space, plus a sound check before any guests are seated.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. I carry two million dollars in liability insurance and provide a certificate of insurance to Casani Estates whenever it is requested. Most venues require it, and I take care of that step for you.
