From the moment Ashley & Robin said “I Do”, I knew this was going to be a unique and creative reception. Held at the Royal Crest Room in St. Cloud, they had a “cupcake” wedding cake and an incredible exit. They left in a helicopter that landed right outside on the Green (Some hair got mussed up then- I can tell you that!) Congrats!
What a fun time for Karrie and Jimmie at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Because it was so close to the Holidays, we got to play some great Christmas Music during the Reception. In fact, their Farewell Song was Josh Groban’s Believe from The Polar Express Soundtrack. How appropriate! Check out their First Dance video, below.
Beth and Asher got married at their Alma Mater- The University of the Central Florida. The Ceremony was held at the Reflection Fountain, and the Reception moved into the Alumni Center. The Bride and Groom set the tone early on by being introduced as Flo Rida’s Right Round was rockin’ the house. My best to you both!
Maureen & Cary had their Wedding Reception at the ultra-cool Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk. Maureen was simply gaga over the movie Enchanted, so their were definitely tunes from that movie, along with some old-school favorites like Rick Astley, Chicago, and yes- Metallica. Enter Sandman, anyone?!
Crystal and Javier got married at the Winter Park Civic Center. There was one particular highlight when Crystal and all her “girls” did their time-honored tradition of dancing to Play that Funky Music. Congrats!
Erin and Nick got married the day before Thanksgiving at the Boardwalk Resort in Walt Disney World. The weather threatened rain- but that did not deter a huge celebration that afternoon. Their First Dance was a rare treat indeed- God Only Knows by the Beach Boys. Check out the video below!
Hailing from New Jersey, Cheryl and Brian had their Wedding Reception at the Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World. Things got a little crazy when not only Cheryl, but Joe also got lifted up in their chairs during the Tarentella. Check out the video below!
Cheryl & Scott got married at Shades of Green at Walt Disney World. There was a good-natured rivalry going on all night (Cheryl graduated from Miami, and Scott from Florida State), but it ended up all good. We played both fight songs. (Only UF fans were disappointed!) Congratulations to both Scott and Cheryl.
